Variation #181
This one also copped from the 90’s Facebook Group – this one posted by David Louie – a most excellent version with upside down cross. The near ubiquitous “Fuck Off” making an appearance in the top right hand corner.

What better way to celebrate spring than to look at an album cover that perhaps, harkens back to freshly cut lawns, or a beautiful field? No, not feeling it either? OK allergies are fucking hell, and welcome to a pollen nightmare.

“Ripe & Juicy!” This one comes courtesy of Facebook’s mid-90’s group. Matt Keleher is the current owner. That’s a juicy tomato. Or tomatoe? Oh wait, Dan Quayle was a potato(e) guy. Never mind.

“Fear Of Smell” Vermiform Records, 1993.
Great comp of bands and spoken word type performances… This was a limited release of 2,441 copies over two pressings. This is the yellow label 1st pressing. All copies had handmade front covers and band Listing sticker on the back covers. Has custom inner sleeve with band info. Features Nation Of Ulysses, Man Is The Bastard, Infest and more. Sam & Joe doing “Save The Children” is worth the price of the album! Look em up on YouTube!
The writing looks like it could be the same person as: Variation #99, Variation #79, Variation #47, and Variation #6.

Hi there – I picked up a copy of this beauty in Flashback Records in London today – thought it was only right to submit. Photos of front and back attached.
Thanks James!

This one comes courtesy of Alex, and boy howdy, it’ll wake you up. Throughout the covers I’ve seen over the last decade, there is definitely a Christmas-y undertone from a lot of them – red/green and tinsel being the obvious ones. Think this was a grab from Discogs.

This copy was purchased here in Winnipeg where I live. There’s a few copies in these parts, I know that for sure. Maybe they’ve already submitted theirs. Who knows!
Which is an appropriate time to pimp the blog – thanks Sam. If you have a copy take a picture, front and back, and submit it via e-mail to dietsociety@yahoo.com
